Calc/Solve Software

Overview

Calc/Solve is the GSFC VLBI Analysis Center's traditional software package for analyzing Very Long Baseline Interferometry observations. It allows the estimation of parameters such as station positions and velocities, source coodinates, and Earth orientation parameters. Calc/Solve has been under development since the middle of the 1970s, and it is widely used around the world. Calc/Solve was developed for analyzing sessions processed by Mark III, Mark IV, and Mark 5 correlators, but it has a convenient interface to sessions processed by K4 and S2 correlators. It is written mainly in Fortran, with some C modules.

Calc/Solve runs only under Linux and HP-UX operating systems on processors i386, x86_64 and PA-RISC architectures.
